Discussion on Application of Submerged Piston Pump for Nuclear Chemical Industry
In the actual operation process of the nuclear chemical project,the feed liquid feeding system needs to transport the feed liquid of the nitric acid system.In the past,the sub-liquid piston pump was used in the project.During the commissioning and operation,the transmission structure of the sub-liquid piston pump appeared cam wear,connecting rod detachment,key component material wear and corrosion and other faults and problems.In this paper,the above problems and faults are analyzed and the improvement measures are put forward by analyzing the application environment,transmission structure,material selection and mechanical design of key components of the submerged piston pump.The improved submerged piston pump can be applied to the chemical process transportation process of conveying high radioactive,strong corrosive and high viscosity liquid,which provides reference and technical support for the commissioning and operation of nuclear chemical projects.
