With the development and increasing production capacity of the acrylic ester coating industry,in order to solve the problem of high COD and low calorific value of acrylic ester distillation residue in the coating production process, this study disposed of this type of waste liquid through three different routes:incineration, physicochemical, and distillation.Among them, the physicochemical route is to perform Fenton reaction on the waste liquid. The distillation route can be divided into a single kettle concentrated liquid incineration route and a distillation route using concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, and the waste acid to adjust different pH values. This study also compared the cost accounting of different disposal routes. The results showed that the distillation without adjusting acid at 110℃and using concentrated hydrochloric acid or caustic soda to adjust pH had a better effect, with a direct disposal cost of 750~800 yuan/ton.In actual disposal, the distillation method can be determined based on the situation of hazardous waste and the solid-liquid ratio of the incineration materials to obtain the most economical and effective treatment route,in order to reduce production costs and improve overall economic benefits. This study also proposes relevant issues and subsequent solutions for the disposal of distillation routes, which can provide a reference for the disposal of acrylic ester distillation residues in subsequent coating production processes.
