AAO Process to Phoredox Process without Stopping Water Upgrading Practice
With the acceleration of urbanization, upgrading of sewage treatment plants is of great significance to environmental protection.Taking the sewage treatment plant of a county in the Yellow River basin of Shaanxi Province as an example, this paper discusses the continuous water upgrading project of transforming traditional AAO process into five-stage Phoredox process. The project aims at improve wastewater treatment efficiency and improve water quality standards while reducing energy consumption and operating costs. The effect of nitrogen and phosphorus removal was significantly improved by adding post-hypoxia and post-aeration.In this paper, the key technology, operation optimization and transformation effect in the transformation process is analyzed in detail, and the actual operation data after the transformation is displayed, which proves that the transformation project has achieved the expected effect, and the effluent quality is comprehensively superior to the standard A in Table 1 of the Comprehensive Discharge Standard of Yellow River Basin Sewage in Shaanxi Province. In addition, the concrete measures of continuous water transformation are put forward to ensure the normal operation of the sewage treatment plant during the transformation period. This study provides a reference for the upgrading of similar sewage treatment plants, and has high economic and social benefits.
