Rapid Identification of Chemical Components of Eomecon Chionantha Hance based on UHPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS
Eomecon chionantha Hance,a perennial herb belonging to the genus Eomecon within the family Papaveraceae,is used medicinally as a whole plant.Owing to the lack of comprehensive techniques to characterize its chemical components. Thus, its development and further promotion are limited. In this study,a reliable strategy based on Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem hybrid quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometry(UHPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS)was established to rapidly screen and analyze the main chemical components of Eomecon chionantha. The type of column was Hypersil GOLD aQ column(1.9 μm,2.1 mm ID×100 mm).The mobile phases were 0.1%formic acid-water(liquid A)and 0.1%acetonitrile(liquid B).The flow rate was 0.3 mL·min-1,the column temperature was 35℃,and the injection volume was 1 μL.The results show that 73 compounds are identified from Eomecon chionantha, including 33 isoquinoline alkaloids,10 amide compounds,5 amino acids and their derivatives,4 terpenes,2 flavonoids, and 19 others. The established method can efficiently and rapidly identify the chemical constituents of Eomecon chionantha, providing a basis for research on the active substances and the development and resources utilization of Eomecon chionantha.
