Assessment of the Efficacy of A Lotion Containing PCA Zinc,Allantoin and Hamamelis Virginiana(Witch Hazel)Water for Acne Vulgaris
To evaluate the efficacy of a lotion containing PCA Zinc,Allantoin and Hamamelis Virginiana(Witch Hazel)Water for acne vulgaris.The related efficacy evaluations through human trials and 3D epidermal skin model tests.The results of human efficacy evaluation show that after 8 hours of applying the lotion,the sebum secretion of the subject's facial skin was significantly reduced.After 3 days of applying the lotion,the subject's facial acne or papule redness was significantly improved.Using the lotion for more than 7 days can obviously reduce the number of pimples and acne on the face.Moreover,dynamic evaluation data on the proportion of pore area on the face suggested that the proportion of pore area after using the lotion for 2 hours and 28 days was significantly lower than the initial value.On the other hand,3D epidermal skin model tests showed that the lotion could significantly enhance the thickness of the epidermal layer of the model,while moderately up-regulating the expression of human tissue kinin releasing enzyme 7(KLK-7).In conclusion,the application of this lotion containing PCA Zinc,Allantoin and Hamamelis Virginiana(Witch Hazel)Water could effectively improving acne,and also has the effect of controlling oil,improving pores,and improving excessive thickening of keratin.
