Reform and Optimization of Paracetamol Crystallization Simulation Teaching Based on Crystal Growth Kinetics
Paracetamol is a widely used antipyretic and analgesic drug, and its crystal morphology has an important influence on the solubility, bioavailability and stability of the drug. The Monte Carlo method and three-dimensional crystal growth simulation software were used to simulate the growth of two crystal forms of paracetamol under different temperatures and supersaturation conditions. The results show that temperature and supersaturation significantly affect the growth rate and morphology of the crystal. The higher the supersaturation, the faster the crystal growth rate, but it may cause crystal instability. At the same time, the analysis of the experimental data revealed the morphological changes of paracetamol crystals under different conditions, and the simulation results were compared and verified with the actual crystal morphology, confirming the accuracy and reliability of the simulation method.Through this teaching experiment, students can master the change process of crystal morphology and its influencing factors, and deeply understand the specific effects of key parameters such as temperature and supersaturation on crystal growth. It will help cultivate students'innovative thinking and scientific research capabilities, and meet the needs of modern higher education for applied talents.
