Inorganic Nanomaterial Modified Waterborne Polyurethane Composites and Their Applications
In recent years, inorganic nanomaterials have garnered widespread attention for modifying waterborne polyurethanes(WPU)due to their excellent performance and environmental benefits. This review outlines the types of inorganic nanomaterials used for modification and the applications of inorganic nanomaterial-modified WPU.Firstly, several common inorganic nanomaterials employed for modification, including nano metal oxides, nanoclays, carbon nanomaterials, and molybdenum disulfide, are introduced, and their impacts on the properties of WPU are discussed.Secondly, the applications of inorganic nanomaterial-modified WPU in recent years, such as electromagnetic shielding, corrosion protection, and flame retardancy, are summarized. Finally, this paper explores the application prospects of inorganic nanomaterials in modifying waterborne polyurethane, highlights the existing research issues, and provides an outlook on future research directions. The introduction of inorganic nanomaterials provides new avenues for enhancing the performance of WPU and expanding its application fields.
