Study on Modification of Coating Properties of Aspartic Polyurea Resin
By transesterification method,the four ethyl groups on the conventional polyaspartic acid resin(F420)were partially replaced by long chain mono-alcohol,so as to make special polyaspartic resin with part of long side chain.This long chain group has good steric protection on the ester bond of the whole polyaspartic acid resin,especially in the salt-alkali environment,the stability of hydrolysis resistance is greatly improved.The modified resin was used to make waterproof coating and some properties were studied.The experimental results showed that the hydrolytie resistance and weathering resistance of F420 are significantly improved compared with conventional F420.
