Evaluation of Medicinal Plant Houttuynia Extract in Facial Mask
The efficacy of a houttuynia mask was evaluated.30 healthy volunteers with sensitive muscles aged 18～50 were selected as the research objects.Using human efficacy test,through three dimensions of expert evaluation,instrument test and subject self-assessment,a houttuynia mask suitable for sensitive skin,moisturizing,repairing and soothing effects was studied.The results indicate that:(1)after 28 days of using the subject samples,The moisture content of the skin cuticle increased by 27.96％,the percutaneous moisture loss value decreased by 8.69％,the skin erythema index EI value decreased by 8.08％,the skin A*value decreased by 20.39％,the skin lactic ate tingling test score decreased by 46.46％,All of the above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),It shows that the sample has moisturizing,repair and soothing effects;(2)The subjects have no adverse effects after 28 days,The 30 subjects showed no adverse reactions to burning,tingling,acne,itching,It means that the sample is mild and unstimulating.
