稀土化合物因其独特的光学、磁性、电学和催化性能引起了人们的持续关注,其中稀土氢氧化物是合成众多功能材料的重要中间体,因此纯相稀土氢氧化物的制备显得尤为重要.氧化镨Pr6O11被认为是Pr2O3(Ⅲ)和PrO2(IV)两种价态氧化物的组合,本实验项目以混合价态的Pr6O11为研究对象,通过变换水热反应介质实现一步制备纯相Pr(OH)3纳米颗粒,并与单一价态的Pr2O3原料进行横向对比实验,分析镨离子在水热介质中的价态变化.通过本实验教学,锻炼了学生的实验操作技能、团队协作、创新能力,而且其分析能力、科研素养也能得到有效提升与发展.
Comprehensive Experimental Design and Teaching Practice of Hydrothermal Reduction of Pr6O11 For the Preparation of Pure Phase Pr(OH)3 Nanoparticles
Rare earth compounds have attracted sustained attention due to their unique optical,magnetic,electrical and catalytic properties,among which rare earth hydroxides are important intermediates for the synthesis of numerous functional materials,so the preparation of pure phase rare earth hydroxides is particularly important.Praseodymium oxide Pr6O11 is considered to be a combination of Pr2O3(Ⅲ)and PrO2(IV)valence oxides.In this experimental project,the mixed-valence Pr6O11 was used as the research object,and the one-step preparation of pure-phase Pr(OH)3 nanoparticles was realized by changing the hydrothermal reaction medium,and the side-by-side comparative experiments were conducted with the single-valence Pr2O3 raw material to analyze the change of the valence state of praseodymium ion in the hydrothermal medium.In the experimental course,students not only practiced the valence change of praseodymium ions in hydrothermal medium,but also learned how to use the valence of praseodymium ions as a raw material.In the experimental course,the students not only practiced the experimental operation skills,teamwork and innovation ability,but also improved their analytical ability and scientific research literacy.
