Study on the Main Causes and Prevention Countermeasures of Water Pollution in Typical Mountainous Areas during Flood Season
Flood season pollution has become a bottleneck for restricting the improvement of water environment quality in mountainous areas. This study takes four national inspection sections as research object, and takes total phosphorus as the research factor.Based on the automatic monitoring data of national inspection sections from 2020 to 2022 and the on-site investigation and water quality monitoring data from May to July 2022 the characteristics and causes of flood season pollution at different sections are analyzed. The research results show that:During the main flood season, the pollution intensity increased by 8.8%~183.4%and 66.9%~142.0%,respectively,compared with that before flood season and after flood season. The total phosphorus concentration in Fuzushan,Shuanggangkou,Shuangtadi and Zhengjia sections was positively correlated with rainfall, and Spearman correlation coefficients were 0.547(p<0.01),0.763(p<0.01),0.835(p<0.01)and 0.57(p<0.01),respectively.Field investigation indicates that the concentration of total phosphorus in pollution sources such as construction site, surface runoff and farm drainage was high, with the highest values reaching 3.5 mg/L,1.34 mg/L and 2.22 mg/L,respectively.The main concentration of total phosphorus was particulate phosphorus in construction-site drainage and surface runoff, and dissolved phosphorus in farmland drainage. At the same time, this study proposed flood season pollution control countermeasures and strengthening supervision schemes,in order to provide technical support for flood season pollution control and improve the ability to control flood season pollution effectively.
