Uncertainty Evaluation of Toxic Substances Benzene,Toluene and Xylene in Industrial Ambient Air by Solvent Resolution-gas Chromatography
Objective:To improve the accuracy of the determination of benzene, toluene and xylene in the air of workplace, the uncertainty factors affecting the determination of toxic substances benzene, toluene and xylene in workplace air by solvent resolution-gas chromatography were analyzed and evaluated. Methods:In accordance with JJF10591-2012"Evaluation and Representation of Measurement Uncertainty"and GBZ/T 300.66-2017"Determination of Toxic substances in Workplace air-Part 66:benzene,toluene,xylene and ethylbenzene",a mathematical model was established to quantify and evaluate the sources of uncertainty. Results:The relative synthetic uncertainties of benzene, toluene and xylene were 0.024,and the main factors affecting the uncertainty were:sampling process>standard solution preparation>carbon tube recovery>working curve fitting>sample desorption solution volume>sample repeatability measurement. Conclusion:In order to make the test results more accurate, the sampling process should be standardized, and use more sophisticated sampling equipment and standard solution preparation equipment to reduce measurement uncertainty.
