Integrating Frontier Scientific Research into Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Analysis Course:Chelates and New Complex Compounds
The teaching content design of chelates and new coordination compounds in inorganic chemistry and chemical analysis courses are introduced.Based on the school's positioning as a high-level application-oriented university and combined with the talent needs under the background of new engineering, the course aims at cultivate students'ability to analyze and solve issues by applying relevant knowledge.Through the case analysis method, the cutting-edge scientific research of metal-organic coordination polymer(MOF)materials is integrated into classroom teaching to guide students to integrate knowledge and solve key issues relevant to the relationship between the structure and properties of complexes. At the same time,it strengthens students'professional ideas, stimulates their interest in learning, and cultivates their chemical literacy. The course adopts the progressive task design, attaching great importance tot he combination of theory and practice, aiming at achieving the teaching objectives of knowledge internalization and improvement of high-level thinking ability.Through this teaching activity, students can not only deepen their understanding of coordination chemistry, but also improve their ability to solve practical problems, laying a solid foundation for future study, work, and scientific research.
