Why did the Special-Post Teacher Resign?A Narrative Research on the Living State of a Special-Post Teacher in Rural Area
Special-post teachers are the new force in the revitalization of rural education.It has been fifteen years since the first batch of special-post teachers.Their true living conditions are related to the prospect of high-quality development of the entire rural education cause.This paper selects a special-post Z teacher who has worked in a rural school for ten years.This paper conducts narrative research from the three fields of special post teacher's admission,presence,and departure.The study found that Mrs.Z went through the mental process of passively entering the special-post teacher,real experience of special-post teacher,and hesitant to leave special-post teacher.This case illustrates the real mirror of the unstable teaching team of the special-post teacher.To improve the living conditions of special-post teachers,two factors need to be considered:health care and motivating.Based on the health factors,it improves the salary of"special-post"teachers,optimizes the rural school environment and attach importance to optimizing the school management system.At the same time,based on the motivating factors,focusing on improving the development and promotion mechanism of special-post teachers,attaching importance to the establishment of the honor system for special-post teachers and cultivates the local feelings of special-post teachers.
