The Influence Of Growth Mindset On Teachers'Professional Development:The Mediating Role Of Teaching Efficacy And Grit Personality
To explore the relationship between growth mindset,teaching efficacy,grit personality,and teacher professional development,and the role of teaching efficacy and grit personality in the psychological mechanism,215 teachers in Qingyang City are surveyed using the professional development self-evaluation questionnaire for primary and secondary school teachers,the self-efficacy questionnaire,the teacher resilience scale,and the growth mindset questionnaire.Results show that:①Growth mindset,teaching mindset,and grit personality are all significantly and positively correlated with teacher professional development;②Teaching efficacy and grit personality have a full mediating effect on the relationship between growth mindset and teacher professional development,accounting for 94.30%of the total effect.This study revealed the psychological mechanism of the role of teaching efficacy and grit personality in growth mindset and teacher professional development,and provided theoretical and practical support and guidance for promoting teacher professional development.
