In order to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings and promote sustainable development,this article introduces the research on energy saving and renovation of public buildings based on green building technol-ogy.The content covers building overview,application of green technology,including exterior wall insulation sys-tem,exterior window renovation and roof renewal,natural lighting and ventilation simulation,and comprehensive benefit analysis after renovation.By analyzing the application effects of various technologies in detail,this ar-ticle proposes an energy saving and renovation strategy based on green building technology.The research results in-dicate that adopting these technologies can not only significantly reduce building energy consumption,but also im-prove indoor environmental quality,achieve green transformation and sustainable development of public buildings.
