The rise of ice and snow tourism poses a challenge to building materials in cold regions,in order to study the principles of building material informatization to improve construction efficiency and promote sustainable development.The paper analyzes information technology and applications through analogy The analogy method was used to analyze the relevant technologies and applications of building material information.Its advantages and disadvan-tages were summarized,and the information needs of tourism buildings in severe cold regions were analyzed.The prospects and development trends of informatization were summarized through the application of information technol-ogy in tourism buildings in severe cold areas.It is concluded that building material informatization will provide more comfortable,environmentally friendly,and sustainable solutions for tourism buildings.
