With the increasing attention paid to geological disasters internationally,comprehensive management of reservoir banks,as an important component of preventing and controlling geological disasters,has also received a great deal of attention.The comprehensive management of reservoir banks based on BIM technology has gradually be-come a research direction that has received much attention.This article takes the comprehensive management project of the reservoir bank in Badong County as an example to explore the design and application of a quality control sys-tem for the comprehensive management project of the reservoir bank based on BIM technology.This article mainly in-cludes the following content:Firstly,it introduces the research background and significance,and reviews the cur-rent research status and shortcomings at home and abroad;Secondly,the basic concepts and principles of BIM tech-nology were introduced,and the application status and advantages of BIM in comprehensive management of reservoir banks were discussed;Then,the planning and design requirements,engineering structure,and construction difficul-ties of the comprehensive management project for the reservoir bank in Badong County were outlined;Next,a detailed introduction was given to the design and implementation of a BIM based quality control system for reservoir bank comprehensive management projects;On this basis,the application and practice of BIM in quality control of reser-voir bank comprehensive treatment engineering are elaborated;Finally,the effectiveness evaluation and summary of the comprehensive management project for the reservoir bank in Badong County were conducted,and future research di-rections were prospected.
