摘要
文化、文明形态和现代化之间具有某种内在的紧密联系,文化既是文明形态的有机部分,又是文明观念的形态凝结和人的内在的尺度."现代化"既是人类社会文明发展到特定阶段的产物,亦是促进传统社会转型向更高级的文明形态演进的手段、目标和过程.理解中国现代化的文化追求在某种意义上即是对文化特殊性与普遍性反思的历史过程、认知过程和实践过程.
Abstract
There exists an inherent and close connection between culture,forms of civilization,and modernization.Culture is not only an organic component of civilization forms,but also a manifestation of civilization concepts and an intrinsic measure of human beings."Modernization"emerges as both a product of the development of human social civilization to a specific stage and a means,goal,and process to promote the transformation of traditional societies towards more advanced forms of civilization.Understanding of cultural pursuits of modernization in China is,in a sense,a historical process,a cognitive process,and a practical process of reflecting on the specificity and universality of culture.
