Curriculum Development of"Introduction to Artificial Intelligence"Oriented Towards Cultivating System Cognitive Ability
As an introductory and guiding course,"Introduction to Artificial Intelligence"covers a wide range of knowledge and involves interdisciplinary integration. The key challenge in course development is to guide students in quickly forming a systematic understanding of the AI field.Aiming to cultivate system cognitive ability,a three-dimensional course structure model was proposed by combining Tyler's principles with Hall's three-dimensional structure model.Based on this model, layered cognitive course objectives were designed, extending from engineering knowledge to lifelong learning. The course content was developed into five interconnected and coherent topics:AI application fields and milestone events, professional knowledge and course system, teaching and experimental resources, international competition and the development trends of the information technology application innovation industry, and student career development pathways. The course implementation method emphasizes integrating learning and thinking to achieve gradual cognitive generalization. The teaching practice indicates that the implementation of the newly developed course can significantly enhance students'ability to cognitively connect multidisciplinary knowledge, learning environments, and professional environments, thereby improving their career planning and lifelong learning capabilities.
