Exploration of Data Management in University Archives under the Context of High-Quality Development
Promoting the high-quality development of the archival industry,adapting to the requirements of the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity,and striving to build a strong archival nation are the starting points and objectives of the archival industry in the new era.University archival work,as an important component of the national archival industry,plays an indispensable foundational and supportive role in higher education.Given the current situation of low levels of data digitization,insufficient data integration capabilities,and lagging data utilization in Chinese university archives,and in the context of the new technological revolution encompassing big data,artificial intelligence,and cloud computing,this paper further deepens the rational understanding of the importance of data management in promoting the high-quality development of university archives.It outlines the pathways and directions for empowering the high-quality development of university archives through data digitization from five dimensions:the development and application of archival data platforms,the construction of data resource systems,data utilization capabilities,and data information security.
