Bending Forming Experiment and Analysis of Springback Characteristics on Thick-wall Stainless-steel Pipe
With the help of CNC pipe bending machine,the bending forming tests of pipes with wall thickness of 5.5 mm and 3.5 mm were completed respectively.According to the springback theory and the bending simplified model,the springback mechanism of pipe bending was analyzed,and the engineering approximate analytical formula of the springback angle of metal pipe bending was derived.The bending springback angle was measured with a multi-camera measuring machine.Through data analysis,the influence rule of deformation condition and pipe structure size on bending rebound angle was studied.The results show that the bending springback angle increases with the bending angle in the case of one variable.Under the same bending angle of the same specification pipe,the bending springback angle continues to increase with time,and the rebound speed of the rebound angle decreases rapidly with time.The rebound mainly occurs within 24 h after the bending.The experimental data and the research conclusion provide reference for the bending forming and engineering application of thick wall stainless steel pipeline.
