Research Progress of Fiber Bragg Grating in Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Monitoring
The pipeline safety monitoring technology based on fiber Bragg grating has the advantages of intrinsic safety and no electromagnetic interference,and is suitable for flammable and explosive environments.This article introduced the technical status of fiber Bragg grating(FBG),compared and analyzed the implementation principles,main parameters,and performance characteristics of FBG sensors with different installation methods,introduced the technical advantages and application scenarios of ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating sensing arrays,and proposed the research difficulties and development directions of pipeline safety monitoring technology based on FBG sensing,providing reference for building a safety monitoring technology system for natural gas pipeline.
