Analysis of Influence of Frozen Soil Expansion on Stress Changes of Pipeline and Flange
The expansion of frozen soil can cause stress concentration in gas pipelines, which can lead to failure or even rupture of high-pressure gas pipelines, leading to explosion accidents. In order to study the influence of frozen soil expansion on the stress changes of pipelines and flange connections,Workbench was used to analyze the pipeline and flange connections.Taking a displacement load of 20 mm as an example, the stress distribution of pipeline and flange connections was observed, and their stress changes under 0~30 mm displacement was studied. The results indicate that the maximum stress in the pipeline occurs at the elbow, the maximum stress of the flange plate occurs at the welding point between the flange plate and the pipeline. The stress change of the pipeline changes the most with the increase of displacement, followed by the flange plate, and the stress increase of the bolt is relatively stable.
