Research Progress in Internal Detection Robot Technology for Urban Polyethylene Gas Pipelines
The buried installation method of polyethylene gas pipeline is mainly adopted in Chinese towns.In the long-term use process,in order to timely discover the aging of the pipeline and internal defects,it is necessary to use the pipeline robot for comprehensive detection.In this paper,the research progress of pipeline robot at home and abroad was introduced according to the movement type classification of robot.Then the characteristics of polyethylene pipe and the development status of the existing testing methods of polyethylene pipe were introduced.Then,the main problems existing in the testing of polyethylene pipe were discussed and finally it will be of great significance to the development of urban polyethylene gas pipeline detection in the future by developing the combined use of robot and various detection means was put forward.
