Numerical Simulation Study on Transport Law of Slurry in Spiral Hydrate in Pipeline
The fluidization of hydrate and the increase of pipeline transport capacity are two important problems to be solved by solid fluidization method.Therefore,the mixed slurry of hydrate and sand was taken as the research object.Numerical simu-lation of liquid-solid-solid two-phase flow in the whole spin pipeline was conducted to study the flow characteristics of its solid phase.In addition,a comparison was made between the whole spin pipeline and a regular ordinary pipeline.Through research,it found that the larger the inclination angle of the pipeline is,the higher the volume fraction of hydrates in the cross-section of the whole spin pipeline is,and the smaller the volume fraction of sand is.However,on the cross-section of ordinary pipeline,the change of solid particle distribution is more obvious,indicating that the inclination angle has a greater impact on the solid distri-bution of ordinary pipeline,and the transportation of the whole spin pipeline is more stable.This study has important significance for the engineering application of spiral flow to improve hydrate transport capacity and guide bar whole spin.
