Wet natural gas transmission is affected by external factors,resulting in the deposition of water and heavy hydrocarbons at the bottom of the pipeline.Fluid accumulation reduces delivery efficiency and causes security issues.It is important to study the pattern of liquid carrying and take steps to reduce the hazards.In this paper,two different undulating pipeline models were established by using OLGA numerical simulation software,and the influence of terrain undulation on the liquid holding capacity of wet gas pipelines was analyzed.Taking the liquid holdup at different inclination angles as the basis for judgment,it is clarified that the research focus of wet gas pipelines with undulating terrain is the uphill inclined section with higher liquid holdup,which is more difficult to carry liquid.When the inclination angle of the upper inclination section is 55°,it is most difficult to carry liquid.
