Seismic Performance Analysis of Inner Rib Reinforced Polyethylene Spiral Bellows
In order to promote the application of inner ribbed reinforced polyethylene spiral bellows in buildings and infra-structures in seismic zone and to provide the basis for seismic evaluation, the finite element simulation analysis method was adopted in this paper, the seismic performance of inner rib reinforced polyethylene spiral bellows was analyzed.Based on the characteristics of pipeline and soil, the soil-pipe dynamic constitutive finite element model was established, and the proper seis-mic wave was selected for time history analysis, the interaction between soil and pipeline was also considered. The time history analysis results show that the stress and deformation of pipeline with 600 mm diameter and 4 m buried depth are small in all di-rections,and the maximum stress is far lower than the stress standard value of material under 9 degree earthquake fortification intensity,it shows that the pipeline has sufficient seismic performance.
