Research and Development of Pipeline Internal Detector Speed Control System Test Device
In the field of internal inspection, internal detectors with speed control capabilities are crucial. However, during the speed control testing phase of the internal detectors, the establishment of a full-domain experimental environment is challen-ging,which limits the precise measurement of detector speeds, thereby affecting the in-depth development and application of speed control systems. This study proposed an alternative approach by testing thrust to simulate speed and designed a testing device for the speed control system of pipeline internal detectors. The device simulated the thrust of the pipeline medium on the internal detector by injecting compressed air of specific flow and pressure into the intake through an air compressor.Using this testing device, speed control systems with two control algorithms were tested. The test results indicate that the device can effectively evaluate key performance indicators such as the dynamic adjustment process, aerodynamic thrust, and response time of the speed control system, reflecting the performance of the speed control system and validating the effectiveness of this testing method. This research provides a experimental method for testing the speed control systems of internal detectors, which is condu-cive to promoting the deve-lopment and application of related technologies.
