Xing Shi Yan: the Plight of "Human Liberation" and the Redemption
"Human liberation" in the area of research of ancient Chinese literature is injected into many cheery progress meaning. But in a materialistic age, the problem of how to "set up" or "liberate" the humanity, and how our moral setback, and how it should be settled is the true propositions what we never stay away from. It was answered by LU Ren-long, with his Xing Shi Yah. He reveals the moral dilemmas caused by materialistic, including those from the tearing of ordinary human into the setback of intellectual moral confidence. This indicates the need for salvation. Lu further explores the path of three kinds of redemption : abstinence for morality, to submit to the will of Heaven and one's fate, and karma.
