Study on the Spatial Structure of Stand with Different Disturbance Intensities in Liuxihe National Forest Park
Stand spatial structure is one of the important indexes of stand quality evaluation.Reasonable stand spatial structure is the basis of forest health, stability, and multifunctional function. To explore the effects of different disturbance intensities on the spatial structure of the stand. In this paper, the natural secondary broad-leaved mixed forest in Liuxihe National Forest Park was taken as the research object.Different disturbance levels were divided according to canopy degree. The characteristics and change laws of mingling, neighborhood comparison, and neighborhood patterns under different interference intensities were analyzed. And forest spatial structure index and forest spatial structure distance were used to comprehensively and quantitatively evaluate the stand spatial structure. The results showed that the interference of different intensities affected the spatial structure parameters of the stand. The mingling of the standard plot was the largest and the neighborhood comparison of the standard plot was the smallest at weak interference. The increase or decrease of interference intensity, and mingling of the standard plot became smaller, while the neighborhood comparison of the standard plot became larger. The mingling of standard plot was the smallest and the neighborhood comparison of the standard plot was the largest at intensity interference.Neighborhood patterns did not change regularly with the variation of interfer-ence intensity.Interference intensity affected the spatial structure of the stand. When the stand was disturbed by weak interference, the spatial structure of the stand was the best, while when the stand was disturbed by intensi-ty interference, the spatial structure of the stand was the worst. Therefore, the stand can be moderately dis-turbed to keep its canopy density at 0.77-0.83,in the process of forest transformation and forest tending, which is beneficial to optimize the spatial structure of the stand.
