Effect of Lime Addition on the Growth and Photosynthesis Characteristics of Dalbergia odorifera Plantation
Soil acidification is one of the important factors affecting plant growth and development. To ex-plore the effect of lime application on the growth and photosynthetic characteristics of Dalbergia odorifera planta-tion,and provide reference for efficient cultivation of D.odorifera plantations.Different amounts of lime(2.5 kg·planting hole-1,5 kg·planting hole-1,10 kg·planting hole-1)were applied during the afforestation process of D.odorifera plantation. After 33 months, the results showed that the net photosynthetic rate, leaf ar-ea,seedling height, and ground diameter of D.odorifera seedlings increased with the addition of lime up to 10 kg per seedling, where the maximum values. The net photosynthetic rate, leaf area, seedling height, and ground diameter were 9.76 μmol·m-2·s-1,19.89 cm2,359.97 cm and 5.91 cm respectively, which in-creased by 192.20%、77.08%、35.03% and 44.02% compared to the control group(P<0.05).The results indicated that adding lime was beneficial for the growth of young D.odorifera plantation under an acid site, and adding 10 kg of lime per planting hole was more suitable.
