The northeast-trending Nanxiong Fault is a controlling fault of the Nanxiong Basin,along which geological features such as mylonitization,fractured rock formation,silicification,and unique landform like Danxia landform and fault cliffs are formed.Based on these geological and geomorphological features,combined with geological surveys,this study elaborates on the practical significance for the distribution of surrounding lithology,topography and geomorphology,mineral exploration,engineering construction and spatial planning,geological heritage development,and geological science education.
