An Analysis of the Peritexts in Chinese Versions of Academic Works on Interpreting Theories
As an integral part of translations,paratexts serve as important supplementary materials for studying the translated texts.Based on the peritexts in the 13 Chinese versions of academic works on interpreting studies,this paper analyzes the contents and evolution of their covers,prefaces,appendices and back covers,and explores their functions in the Chinese versions.The aim is to provide insights and inspiration for the translation of academic works in the field of translation studies and the making of their paratexts.
