Superparamagnetic Fe3O4 Nanoparticles in the Application of Water Model of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and CT Imaging in Rat Brain
Objective This study aims to study the application of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in rat brain magnetic resonance imaging and CT water in the model,provide a theoretical basis for clinical application,to provide the experimental basis for the reasonable development of the nano particles.Methods Using simple random grouping method in 60 were divided into control group(20 rats,treated with sterile saline was injected into the cisterna magna)and experimental group(40 rats,making rat model of hydrocephalus,the use of kaolin by MR screening of rat model of hydrocephalus,the model of subarachnoid injection into the Fe3O4 nanoparticles after 1 hours,CT examination,and after 1 months under the microscope in blank control group and experimental group fe3o4nanoparticles accumulation in brain,heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and other organs.Results(1)In the experimental group,the rats died in operation and anesthesia,and the mortality rate of the experimental group was 15% and that of the control group was as high as 6.The mortality rate of control group was 10%.The overall mortality rate was 13.3%.(2)In the experimental group,hydrocephalus was formed in 32 rats.The success rate of the model was about 88.9%,and the total success rate was.(3)In the rat spinal Fe3O4 magnetic resonance imaging showed poor contrast CT has good effect;(4)Subarachnoid injection of Fe3O4 nanoparticles after 1 months in the brain,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and other organs showed no accumulation.Conclusion Intrathecal injection of superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles is safe and reliable,can be used as a contrast agent for the CT examination of brain hydrocephalus.
