Prevention and Treatment of Community Diabetes Mellitus by General Practitioner
Objective To explore and analyze the utility of general practitioners in the prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus in community.Methods A total of 180 diabetic patients managed by biling community health center in pingshan new district, shenzhen, China were divided into two groups: observation group (n=90) and (n=90).Among them, the patients in the observation group were treated with drugs, and the patients in the control group were treated with non-drug.The metabolic indexes of the two groups were observed and compared before and after treatment.Results The fasting blood glucose level and the postprandial blood glucose level of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The blood glucose and metabolic indexes of diabetic patients were lower than those of non-drug treatment group.The general practitioners played a positive role in the prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus.
