The Identity Dilemma of North African Jews in the Work of Albert Memmi
This paper takes Memmi,a French-Tunisian writer,as the research object.Through the analysis of his autobiographical novel The Pillar of Salt,this paper analyzes the misfortune of Alexander in Tunisia and France from the perspective of cultural identity.On this basis,it fully affirms the writer's creative tendency and deeply reflects on the predicament of cultural identity of North African Jews.
