Spatial form is an important feature of literary experience and literary interpretation shared by almost all eras and all cultures.Space is first of all a physical concept, which became the basic content of Euclidean geometry very early.European physics, philosophy, and metaphysics have been debating about space and its nature for more than 2,000 years.Space, geospatial space, social space, spatial form, spatial criticism, and spatial turn are a set of interrelated humanistic concepts.Joseph Frank proposed the spatial form in modern literature in 1945.Space criticism rose from the 1950s to the 1980s.Bachelard,Lefebvre,Foucault,Jameson,Mandel,Harvey,among others, have paid attention to space and social space from the perspective of diverse human sciences,Marxism, and cultural criticism. The"spatial turn"occurred around 1990.At the beginning of the 21st century, its new aesthetic or scientific paradigm and free methods rapidly spread from human geography to the fields of philosophy, literature and art.
