Since the 1970s,with the advancement of biotechnology,the modification of human life by biotechnology has become an important theme in Chinese and American science fiction.Science fiction writers,whose original intention is to care for people,focus on the bioethical issues of whether emerging biotechnologies are ethically defensible,anticipate the future development of emerging biotechnologies and their impact on humanity and society,and reflect on them ethically in the form of literature.In the literary imagination of the future world,the use of biotechnology deviates from the original intention of doing good and avoiding evil,and poses a great challenge to the dignity of human beings,the safety of life and the fairness of the social system.Bioethical reflections on emerging biotechnology can,on the one hand,promote the balance between biotechnology and bioethics and,on the other hand,point the way to redemption for humanity characterized by the restoration of humanity and order.
