The feeding with relatively long time and high cost were the key factors restricting the economic benefits of Qingyuan partridge chicken. The use of microbial agents to regulate the growth performance of Qingyuan partridge chicken had a good application prospect. In this study, the effects of BL01 on growth performance, antioxidant indexes and intestinal microorganisms of Qingyuan partridge chickens were studied by using the self-selected Brevibacillus laterosporus BL01 as a microbial preparation. After 30 days of feeding with BL01,the final body weight and average daily gain(P<0.05)were significantly increased 2.7%and 2.9%(P<0.05),respectively.And in meanwhile the ratio of feed to gain was decreased 5.2%(P<0.05).The activity of serum T-AOC and SOD significantly were increased(P<0.05).The proportion of intestinal harmful bacteria Eschichia-Shigella was significantly reduced 15.98%(P<0.05).Those results indicated that adding BL01 in drinking water could improve the growth performance, enhance the antioxidant capacity and regulate the gut microbiome composition of Qingyuan partridge chicken.
