Anti-nutrient Factors of Cottonseed Meal,Treatment Technology and its Application in Swine Production
Cottonseed meal is one of the protein feed materials,its crude protein content is similar to soybean meal,and its price is relatively low,and it can replace part of soybean meal in livestock and poultry diets.However,anti-nutrition factors such as free gossypol contained in cottonseed meal have negative effects on nutrient and energy digestion,which restricts its feeding value.Therefore,this paper mainly introduced the main anti-nutritional factors and their anti-nutritional effects in cottonseed meal,and expounded the improvement of nutritional value of cottonseed meal by enzymatic hydrolysis,fermentation and other treatment processes.At the same time,it summarized the application of cottonseed meal in pig production,in order to further promote the understanding of cottonseed meal in feed enterprises and provide theoretical reference for rational formulation of livestock and poultry diets.
