Diagnosis,Prevention and Control Measures of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea
Since 2010,with the emergence of new strains of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV),PED has spread to all breeding areas in China in a short period of time,which has brought huge economic losses to farmers and the whole pig industry.In recent years,the average positive detection rate of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus was still the highest among porcine viral diarrhea diseases,and most of the circulating PEDV strains were variant strains(Group G Ⅱ),whose genomes were constantly variant.In order to effectively prevent and control porcine epidemic diarrhea,it was necessary to fully realize the harm and impact of the disease,timely understand the epidemic characteristics of the disease,establish accurate diagnosis methods and adopt perfect prevention and control strategies,which were helpful to the healthy development of the pig industry.Following the above,the current epidemic situation of porcine epidemic diarrhea,diagnostic methods,prevention and control measures of three aspects were sorted out and summarized,which was intended to provide a reference for the scientific prevention and control of porcine epidemic diarrhea.
