Clinical Analysis of Canine Pancreatitis in an Animal Hospital in Wuhan
Canine pancreatitis is a chemical inflammation,which refers to the digestive action of pancreatic tissue itself after the activation of pancreatic enzymes secreted by the pancreas.In order to investigate the influencing factors and pathogenesis of pancreatitis,98 cases of canine pancreatitis treated in an animal hospital in Wuhan 2023 investigated and studied.The analysis was mainly carried out from the basic case information,pathogenesis,clinical symptoms,laboratory examination,imaging examination and other aspects,which provided the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of canine pancreatitis.The results showed that canine pancreatitis could occur in all breeds,and the incidence of small dogs was higher(85.71%).The incidence of purebred dogs was higher than that of hybrid dogs(86.73%).The disease is most common in young dogs(1-8 years old),accounting for 95.92%.In terms of etiology,the incidence of dogs eating a lot of high-fat food was higher(40.82%),while the incidence of obese dogs was as high as 46.94%.Most dogs showed depression(96.63%),loss of appetite(87.86%),vomiting(74.49%)and abdominal pain(80.61%).In the laboratory examination,the leukocyte was increased significantly in most dogs,the platelet and red blood cell counts were decreased,93.33%of the dogs had high lipase,and 91.04%of the dogs had high CRP.Conclusion:Breed dogs have a high incidence,and the age of onset is mainly concentrated in 1-8 years old,which has no relationship with sex.A higher proportion of dogs were fed high fat food,and the incidence of obesity was high.Depression,dehydration,loss of appetite,vomiting and abdominal pain can be used as reference factors in most of the dogs.White blood cells,pancreatic amylase and lipase were increased.CRP examination results of infection,indicating that the disease inflammation,disease progression and prognosis of the judgment of the reference significance.
