Research Progress on Antibody Detection Technology associated with Classical Swine Fever Virus
Classical swine fever(CSF)is a highly contagious and fatal viral disease of pigs caused by Classical swine fever virus(CSFV).CSF is widespread and distributed worldwide. The high morbidity and mortality rate seriously harm the pig industry. At present, vaccine immunization is still the main means for the prevention and control of CSF in most of pig farming countries in the world. Therefore,it is very important to correctly detect CSFV antibody by laboratory or clinical detection technology, accurately evaluate the immune efficiency of CSFV vaccine in pigs and evaluate whether CSFV infection exists in non-immune pigs, and then propose CSF prevention and control measures. In this paper,we reviewed the common detection techniques and methods of CSFV antibody, such as Indirect hemagglutination test(IHA),Virus neutralization test in vitro(VNT),Immunochromatography assay(ICA),Enzyme-linked immunosorptive test(ELISA),Protein chip technology,Bead-based multiplex assay(BBMA),in order to provide theoretical reference for immune evaluation and comprehensive prevention and control of CSF.
