In this paper,we apply the preconditioning technique to the extrapo-lation MHSS(EMHSS)iterative method,and construct a preconditioned EMHSS(PEMHSS)iterative method for solving a class of large sparse complex symmetric linear systems.In theory,we give the upper bound of the spectral radius of the PEMHSS iterative matrix,and analyze the convergence conditions of the PEMHSS iterative method.Finally,two numerical experiments are given to show the effec-tiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
