Although 1301 fire extinguishing agent is not environmentally friendly at present,the 1301 fire extinguishing system is still used on a lot of special naval ships instead of high pressure CO2 fire extinguishing system.The article compares the advantages and disadvantages of special naval ship 1301 fire extinguishing system and CO2 fire extinguishing system in terms of fire extinguishing efficiency,economy,major parameters and toxicity,for readers to understand the reasons thereof.Furtherfore,this paper analyzes 1301 fire extinguishing system application as well as the alternative new type fie extinguishing agents and proposes the future types of fie extinguishing agents on new naval ships.
