Discussion on Precision Control Method for Sections Construction of 300 m-Class Deep Water Jacket
The deep water jackets have significant changes in comparison with shallow water jackets because of tonnage,height and working environment.This paper takes the dimensional precision control of segments fabrication in the construction of 300 m deep water jackets as an example to elaborate the main methods for controlling the dimensional accuracy of 300 m deep water jacket in structural segment prefabrication.The main contents include the risk points analysis and countermeasures for the conduits and brace extension,prefabrication of cross panel and wellhead piece prefabrication,horizontal piece prefabrication and jacket prefabrication,and explore the key and difficult points in the prefabrication stage of deepwater jacket size control.
