The application of CFD technology in ship design is the current trend in the ship industry.According to the design technical requirements of a certain container ship,this article conducts quantitative analysis and optimization by CFD technology for engine room space temperature.Through comparative analysis of temperature field and streamline field when the ship is leaving or entering a port and sailing at sea working conditions,it is found that there are temperature differences and formation causes at different heights and positions of the engine room.Optimization directions such as modifying the air outlet,installing ventilation pipes,and adding openings to the crossbeam are proposed.This provides an effective technical means for the design and verification of ventilation in modern ship engine rooms.
