Use and Contrast of Methanol and LNG Fuel on Board
In order to achieve the medium and long-term emission reduction targets of the maritime industry set by IMO,marine clean energy has become an important means of emission reduction in the marine industry.Aiming at the application of methanol and LNG fuel on ships,this paper compares fuel characteristics,filling,fuel tank layout,fuel supply system,fire and explosion protection,gas detection and other aspects based on the requirements of regulations,which can provide reference for the design of green energy ships.
