Natural gas carriers are the mainstream green ships built in recent years,with significant increase in demand.In this paper,to solve the problem of rather slowly filling into Type C storage tank at present,we have invented a new method and practiced to precool the tank quickly through analysis of the precooling process and time,so as to obtain a method for filling temperature.In comparison with the precooling process currently in use,it has the effect of short filling time and low cost,which is successfully used in a LPG carrier.
